FINANCIAL HEALING CONTINUED

COMMANDMENT 2

Plan your Financial future.
How is your financial future? I ask myself all the time...

God tells us in his word that the plans of the diligent will lead to profit, however those who are hasty or fail to plan will certainly lead to poverty.

In order to obtain our financial healing, we must implement a plan for our finances. This way, unexpected expenses, unemployment or illness will not cause our financial house to be shaken.
No matter how little you earn, you should have a financial plan.

Its not always easy, especially when you have a lot of responsibilities but we can do it. One thing that I always do is WRITE! There is great power in writing, it is very essential to write down things most especially your financial goals.
I love to write, it calms me down. If I feel tensed financially, I write down a budget or a plan and do some calculations and the tension just goes away.

So I want to encourage you today to write down your goals, because there is nothing as powerful as putting your thoughts on paper. And don't just stop there, DECLARE and DECREE it.
Wake up each morning declaring your financial goals will come to pass.
Post your goals somewhere you can see them daily and allow your goals to be a constant reminder of where you are going, It would encourage you when deciding whether to purchase a pair of shoes or save.
Understand that making these small sacrifices would reduce your financial burden and allow you to live a financial healing lifestyle.

If you missed out on Commandment 1, read it HERE and let me know what you think.

Thanks for your devotion to this blog, God bless you abundantly.

Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God's right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.

10 COMMANDMENTS TO FINANCIAL HEALING

I am no expert but I have taken time out to study about financial healing and I thought to share with my blog fam.
Hello sweeties, how are you today? Its a calm day at work and I have wanted to share this for so long.

I call it the 10 COMMANDMENTS TO FINANCIAL HEALING, I don't mean to sound too religious but this has worked for me so far and I believe it would help someone make better decisions. I am not where I want to be yet but I am definitely not where I used to be.
Looking back, I think I deserve a pat on the back because I know I have become a better person and it has been because I study a lot and I follow the books (The word of God).

Lemme not mary-go-round, lets get to it.

COMMANDMENT 1

Put God first in your finances.
As I grew older and started earning money, I decided I would commit to tithing. So I did! With a fixed income, I decided I would trust God. Amazingly, my income would stretch and I never went totally broke.
After learning this simple lesson, I decided I would remain faithful in the area of tithing and to be a blessing to others no matter what.
The thought of giving up money can be very fearful, I know...been there, done that!. I questioned whether I would be able to meet my needs, been that I had to make financial decisions early in life.
When I speak to people about tithing, many are scared that they would be unable to make it if they commit to God. But the reality is, you can't afford not to! God tells us in Malachi 3:10
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and try me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it."
You have to trust him in advance. You can't give to God and go hungry.
Deciding to trust God with my finances is the best decision I have ever made and it requires a faithful commitment to God.
When you decide to trust God and tithe, there may be distractions that get you off track but BEWARE because its only a test.
Stay true to your commitment and you will see God's blessings in your life.

Do I have any witness? Have you been a tither? What has been your experience so far?
Please tell me, I would love to know.
Watch this space for commandment 2.

Thanks for reading, I love you from the bottom pot of my heart.

Hugs & kisses

KEEP UP WITH BLOOM: WET!

Hello guys, how are you today?
Happy new week and if I haven't said Happy New Month, there it is.

How was your weekend? Mine was wet, It has been raining everyday since Friday, guess its officially rainy season.
Lemme gist you about my weekend sha, didn't do much but lemme still share.
On Friday, as usual I went to church after work and It was great. Sometimes all I want to do is just sit in the presence of God and worship, He gives me hope. When people are telling me how I can't do this and that, God just holds me up and shows me the way to go...that's why I am always glad to go into the house of the Lord because he makes my life beautiful.

On Saturday, I planned a stay at home day, just to sleep and read but something came up and I had to rush out of the house and that is how I did not have my lazy Saturday.

Sunday was a rainy day, sadly I couldn't take any pictures. I was cold and I don't know how I forgot sha. LOL so no pictures for you guys today.

Gist me about your weekend na...your comments would calm my nerves.

Thanks for reading

Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.

KEEP UP WITH BLOOM: GOT MY GROOVE BACK!!!

What have I been up to? Hmmm a whole lot! Sometimes I have to pinch myself because I do not know how I got so busy.
Hey sweeties, long time huh? yea...I'm back now!
So this is supposed to be a Monday post but I had to go make my hair and when I got back I went straight to bed, and then on Tuesday I was just lazy and on Wednesday I was so busy at work plus I forgot my laptop at home, hence the Thursday keep up with bloom.
Happy holidays however, Eid Mubarak in arias to all my Muslim readers, hope you had a swell time?

My weekend was ok, on Friday after work, I headed for church but as I dey reach, if you see rain? Jehovah! Plus traffic! Hmmm I just diverted my journey o, cos taxis do not enter the church premises and my ‘I better pass my neighbor umbrella’ go just serve God, so to avoid stories that touch, I cucuma turn back.
On Saturday, my plan was to be out of the house at 9am but mehn sleep carry me go reach 10am, so I left the house at about 11am. Had to go pick up a parcel and do some running around. What got me upset on Saturday was that my mum sent a parcel from portharcourt through God is good transport services and they really got me pissed. I do not intend to ruin their business so I would not talk about it. BUT if it happens again, I would definitely rant o, no turning back.
On Sunday, I went to church, went to pick up the parcel that had not arrived and went back home to take a nap. I am so glad I got to rest throughout this weekend and holiday.
I hope you guys had a splendid weekend and holiday? I sure would like to hear about yours.

Here is what wore to church on Sunday...

BLOODY HYPOCRITES!!!

Hello ma niggas! Howfar? How market? Biko how do you guys deal with hypocrites????? Especially in the work place? Because I have had it up to my throat.
Sorry about the way I started this post today but I just want to rant a little, shey I am permitted? Yes thank you.
So like I was saying, the way some people treat junior staff is heart breaking...because he is a security man or a utility staff doesn't mean we are in anyway better than him, yes he might not have a degree but he is a human being and he has a family and God loves him.
The Security man in my office was sent on an errand yesterday under the heavy downpour and he was drenched to his underwear...I was close to tears when he returned shivering and with no change of clothes. Then we lift up holy hands praising God when we pray expecting him to hear us? Hell no! He values human life more than our praise and worship or even our prayers.
When one sisi is leading prayers and another sisi dey eye the person wey dey lead JEHOV! Lord have mercy on us all.
How someone can interrupt and on going devotion with a shout because she came late and someone was standing on the walk way praying to his God...I wonder what God thinks of us sometimes, thank God for his mercies because if na old testament we dey eh! I dunno what would have happened.

There is a lot more that I wish to say but mehn lemme transfer aggression.

I love you all...

HOW TO EMPOWER YOUR MAN

Hey Sweeties, How are you doing today? Been so busy lately but I am here with an interesting topic today and i'm going to be telling you how you can empower your husband (for my married ladies), your bobo or your fiance...This post is not just for the ladies o, guys read well o and share the link with the woman in your life so she can learn.
Ok! Ladies, I am about to tell you something that you probably already know and the guys really want you to know too.
Guys like to pretend that they are totally confident 100% of the time, but the truth is that most guys are still a little insecure.
When you demonstrate to your man that you believe in him or show that you trust him to handle things that you care about, it actually empowers him to keep bringing his A-game to the relationship.

When he knows that you are on his side, it triggers what the behavioral scientists call the "protect and provide" instinct (otherwise known as the 'hero-gene').
You see, at any given moment a man can be:-
  • His defeat self
  • His average self
  • His best self
Believe it or not, what you say to your man carries a tremendous amount of weight...So lets get down to it.

Here are 5 ways you can empower your man.
  1. Catch him doing something right : Sometimes, we ladies take multi-tasking to a whole new level...its amazing to a man when he sees you on the phone and you are changing the baby's diapers and at the same time cooking dinner AH! That's awesome *high five ladies*. I know some guys can multitask too kudos to them but when your man who isn't really a multitask-er (if there is any word like that) get the little things right, give him a high five or a fist bump or better still a kiss, it truly goes a long way.
  2. Flirt with ya Man : When you flirt with your man, it reminds him that you still find him attractive and because men are generally physical beings, showing him you still find him attractive boosts his self esteem and increases his emotional connection with you.
  3. Thank him for his dedication : We always do things better when we are acknowledged for effort. Tie your man's effort to how it has positively impacted the relationship/family. By doing this, your man will feel even more motivated to increase his consistency and up his game...write him a thank you note or take him out to dinner just to say thank you.
  4. Initiate Sex more often : Ok! so this is for my married ladies in d house...I can't start this sex preaching so I would just skip to the advice I have. This is a big one! No one likes to feel rejected, even if you have been married for 30 years, please realize that this is a very sensitive area in your marriage and it never gets old, it can only get better. When you take the initiative in this area from time to time, it reinforces in his mind what he means to you and it builds intimacy.
  5. Quote him to your friends : Its one thing to share some advice from a book you just read and its another thing entirely when the resident expert is your man...Try it for yourself, the next time you are out with your man and friends, say something like "my husband always says" or "my boo always says" (Just make sure you are quoting right sha) and watch how it lights him up.
  6. Trust him : If you want to boost your man's confidence and sense of contribution, trust him to do something he knows you are a little afraid to let go. Yes! he may have let you down in the past but give him another chance (bobo please do not let us down o). When he realizes that something means a lot to you and that you trust him to accomplish it, he would put in his best.
So darris it ladies and gentle men...hope this post was helpful? Leave a comment below if it was biko lemme know what you think.
